Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Tevez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gianni Skandalaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tevez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Remember - Deadmau5 and Kaskade. Skandalaki has chosen jean charles skarbowsky as his entrance music. Carlos Tevez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gianni Skandalaki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carlos Tevez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gianni Skandalaki! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Tevez closes the distance and clinches. Tevez tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Tevez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Skandalaki after a bit of a struggle. Tevez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Skandalaki prevents it.

Tevez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Skandalaki, pushing him back against the ropes. Tevez is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Tevez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tevez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Skandalaki is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tevez misses with the head strike.
Tevez is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Skandalaki prevents a takedown attempt there.
The referee is keeping an eye on Tevez - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Skandalaki obliges. Tevez is looking to break free of the clinch but Skandalaki has double underhooks. Tevez is trying to stall.
Skandalaki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tevez has his takedown stuffed and Skandalaki counters with a three punch combo that has Tevez backing up. Tevez nods at Skandalaki to acknowledge the strikes. Tevez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Skandalaki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tevez somewhat. Skandalaki is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tevez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Skandalaki circles away from the clinch attempt and Skandalaki counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tevez has his takedown stuffed and Skandalaki counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Skandalaki avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tevez misses with a takedown and Skandalaki makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Gianni Skandalaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tevez tries to clinch but Skandalaki moves away and Skandalaki counters with a left and a right that stings Tevez. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tevez tries to clinch there but Skandalaki circles away.
Skandalaki shapes to counter with a head kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gianni Skandalaki dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tevez tries for a takedown but Skandalaki sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Skandalaki raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Tevez fails in his attempt to clinch. Skandalaki was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Skandalaki stuffs the takedown. Skandalaki looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Tevez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Skandalaki to the mat! Skandalaki manages to get full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tevez trying to control the position from guard on top but Skandalaki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tevez wants to pass the guard but Skandalaki is keeping the position.

Tevez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tevez tries to free his leg and advance position but Skandalaki is retaining full guard. Tevez landing some decent shots from guard. Tevez throws a big elbow that misses. Tevez seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Skandalaki keeping moving, preventing Tevez from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tevez throwing strikes from guard but Skandalaki blocks nicely. Tevez cracks Skandalaki with a solid left hand. Tevez stays in close to Skandalaki's body and controls the position. Skandalaki wants to get back to his feet but Tevez is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Skandalaki has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Tevez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Skandalaki's head. Tevez engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Tevez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Skandalaki dives on top into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tevez is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Skandalaki rolls with it to try and escape but Tevez cranks on the arm and Skandalaki is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
