Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante Cross Furia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Narsimvarman Maurya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cross Furia comes into the arena with Vivaldi's Winter blaring out of the sound system. Maurya has chosen 2Pac-Under Pressure as his entrance music. Narsimvarman Maurya has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dante Cross Furia's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maurya with a nice cross.
A big right from Maurya misses.
Cross Furia blocks a jab.
Cross Furia displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maurya throws out the jab.
Cross Furia doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Maurya misses with a body shot.
Cross Furia keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Maurya.
Maurya sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cross Furia lands a nice looking body kick.
Maurya dips to his left and cracks Cross Furia with an uppercut!
Cross Furia definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Cross Furia steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maurya.
Cross Furia tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A little jabbing left from Maurya on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Cross Furia misses with a looping left.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Maurya! But no joy.
Maurya fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Maurya looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cross Furia misses the jab.

Maurya scores with a jab to the body.
Maurya jabs at Cross Furia's body.
Cross Furia throws a head kick that misses
and Maurya connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cross Furia is breathing heavily.
Maurya blocks a jab.
Maurya lands a nice shot to the body.
Maurya misses with a looping left.

Maurya lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Dante Cross Furia has been cut.
Maurya circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Cross Furia to the canvas! Cross Furia doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Maurya keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Narsimvarman Maurya!
A relieved looking Narsimvarman Maurya thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
