Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Hyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyatt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Street Fighter. Jimmy Hyatt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hyatt scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hyatt looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Hyatt gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jones. Hyatt moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hyatt takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jones thows a body kick. Hyatt tries to catch it but that hurt him. Jones slips a straight right by Hyatt. Hyatt scores with a body shot.
Hyatt takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hyatt misses with a body kick. A head kick by Hyatt misses and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hyatt throws a push kick but Jones slaps the foot to one side. Jones tries to counter with a clinch but Hyatt shakes him off and moves away. Hyatt throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hyatt lands a body shot.
Hyatt chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.
Hyatt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Hyatt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones. Jones throws a wild body kick that Hyatt sees coming a mile off.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Jones misses the target. Hyatt misses with a body shot.

Hyatt dips to his left and cracks Jones with an uppercut! Hyatt lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Hyatt takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones gets tackled into the cage by Hyatt. Hyatt maintains the clinch. Hyatt works on Jones's body with a couple of short punches. Hyatt blocks an uppercut.

Hyatt slips under a jab. Hyatt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jones throws a shot from downtown. Hyatt moves away and avoids it. Hyatt darts in and out, connecting with a jab. No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Hyatt pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jones is out of range and Hyatt settles back down. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hyatt drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. An inside leg kick lands from Jones. Jones lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jimmy Hyatt will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

A close second round but Henry Jones will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hyatt. It seemed like Jones was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A big right from Jones misses. Jones takes one on the button. Hyatt is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Hyatt looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range. Hyatt looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range. Jones is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Hyatt dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jones lands with an uppercut that bounces Hyatt off the cage and back into range. Hyatt looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range. Hyatt steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jones. That one must have hurt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Hyatt misses with a body kick. Jones moves forwards but Hyatt connects with a nice, crisp jab. Hyatt checks the leg kick. Jones blocks a low kick nicely. Hyatt misses with a looping right. Hyatt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hyatt manages to avoid it. Hyatt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hyatt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones stops Hyatt from passing to mount. Hyatt lands an elbow. Hyatt trying to control the position but Jones is working away. Jones can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hyatt lands a nice forearm strike. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. I wouldn't like to be where Jones is right now. Hyatt creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hyatt throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Jones struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Jones can't do much from the bottom here. Hyatt remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Jones is looking to regain half guard here but Hyatt keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy Hyatt showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hyatt has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
