Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mir Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Tonk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mir Cat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hank Tonk! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cat drives through and clinches with Tonk against the cage.
Cat throws an elbow but it misses.
Tonk works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tonk content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Tonk cracks Cat with a solid left hand. Tonk working some strikes from top position. Tonk is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cat might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Tonk distracts Cat with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tonk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tonk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tonk with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cat is adopting a defensive guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tonk working some strikes from top position. Tonk chips away with some ground and pound. Tonk makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Cat working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Tonk has passed into half guard!
Cat tries to roll over but Tonk keeps him under control. Cat on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cat tries to get out of the position. Tonk works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tonk cracks Cat with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Tonk with a couple of short strikes. Tonk lands a heavy elbow.
Cat is rocked!
It looks like Mir Cat has been cut. Cat is breathing heavily. Oooh a big shot lands for Tonk! Cat is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hank Tonk! Hank Tonk was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
