Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryu Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Johnson! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee throws a solid leg kick but Johnson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lee. Lee looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well. Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lee moves into the clinch successfully.
Johnson looking to slow down the pace here. Johnson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lee blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Johnson pulls guard successfully.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Johnson holds on and takes a little breather. Johnson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Johnson has his hands on Lee's head, controlling the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Johnson is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lee wants to stand but Johnson is controlling the position. Johnson stays in close to Lee's body and controls the position. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson thows a big elbow that misses. Johnson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him. Johnson content to stall in guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jason Johnson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lee misses with a double jab.

Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ryu Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A punch combination from Lee misses. Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes. Lee connects with a looping right hand.

Lee connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Johnson tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Johnson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lee because Johnson loaded up on that one.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Johnson wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Johnson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lee avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Ryu Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee moves into range and clinches up with Johnson. Jason Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lee keeps control of Johnson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lee scores with a crisp jab that stopped Johnson in his tracks. Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Johnson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lee tries to clinch up and Johnson counters with a one-two to the body. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Johnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Johnson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
