Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Konor McGregor!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies slaps away a takedown attempt from McGregor, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mies attempts a counter takedown but McGregor avoids it well and moves away.
Mies fails with the takedown
and McGregor counters with a nice body shot.
Mies misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McGregor throws a head kick that misses
and Mies counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mies.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mies's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Mies drops back looking for a leg! McGregor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McGregor manages to kick Mies off! Mies jumps back into McGregor's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mies pushes down on McGregor's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mies is trying for a kimura here. McGregor looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Mies wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Pit Mies!
Pit Mies opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
Konor McGregor spoke after the fight, saying 'This bitch beat me fair and square but ima take it like a man and hit the gym harder and come back stronger. Thank you to all my fans who came out and supported me you will see a better me next fight.'.
