Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Columbus Delacruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan McHeartley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delacruz fails in his attempt to clinch.
McHeartley clinches up against the cage.
McHeartley jumps guard and drags Delacruz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

McHeartley is looking to stand up but Delacruz isn't so interested in that idea.
McHeartley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Delacruz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Delacruz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Delacruz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Delacruz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

McHeartley throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
McHeartley is looking to sweep but instead, Delacruz has passed into half guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. McHeartley manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Delacruz gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, McHeartley regains guard.
McHeartley scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Delacruz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McHeartley on his heels. He'll look to pass McHeartley's guard now, I'm sure.
McHeartley is trying to hold Delacruz in close to prevent damage but Delacruz has managed to pass into half guard.
McHeartley tries to get to full guard but Delacruz has control of the leg.
McHeartley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Delacruz is working away from the top position though.
McHeartley throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Delacruz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
McHeartley gets back to full guard.

McHeartley pushes a forearm under Delacruz's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Delacruz is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
