Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juan Yang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Winters!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winters scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Winters remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Winters in the domination position with Yang hanging on.
Yang could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Winters is trying to get an arm triangle but Yang is defending well.
Winters passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Yang!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winters fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Yang bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Winters wants to stand and escape but Yang is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Winters is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Yang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Winters on the ground.

Winters wants to stand but Yang is controlling the position.
Winters is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Yang trying to control the position from guard on top but Winters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Yang postures up in Winters's guard and throws a big left but Winters blocks it.
Winters is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Yang stopping the sweep attempt from Winters.

Winters looking for a guillotine here but Yang defends easily.
Yang throwing strikes from guard but Winters blocks nicely.
Yang postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Winters has his foot on Yang's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yang works his way back into a safe position though.

Winters looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Yang is defending well. Winters quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Yang has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Winters celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
