The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffman looking to land some kicks to the body here.
We've been informed that Hoffman has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A slow jab from Hoffman misses its intended target.

Brown throws the kick towards the body but Hoffman avoids it.
Brown clobbers Hoffman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Brown throws a front kick that sends Hoffman stumbling back into the cage.
Hoffman swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Brown attempts a counter takedown but Hoffman avoids it well and moves away.

Hoffman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Brown catches Hoffman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hoffman is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Hoffman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hoffman just misses with a punch to the body.
Brown jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Hoffman throws a jab when Brown was well out of range.
Brown uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hoffman has time to react.
Brown is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Brown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hoffman slips under a jab from Brown.
Hoffman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Brown explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Brown throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hoffman scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Brown connects with a right hand. Hoffman shakes it off.
Brown lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Hoffman falls backwards - clearly groggy! Brown dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
