Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Diego Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Harding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira dives in and grabs Harding's left leg, looking for a takedown. Harding pushes down on Ferreira's head and hops out.
Ferreira drops his hands momentarily and Harding takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Harding bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ferreira fails to land the takedown.

and Harding counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Harding has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ferreira is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Diego Ferreira. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Harding paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
