Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tweedle Dum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyril Westlake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cyril Westlake!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Westlake manages to avoid it.
Westlake staying out of range there.
Dum takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Dum swings for the body but Westlake moves out of range.
Dum defending well as Westlake loads up on a big left hand.
Westlake takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dum scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Westlake misses with a body shot.
Dum tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Westlake manages to circle out of the way.
Tweedle Dum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Westlake jabs at Dum's body.
Westlake throws a body shot but no joy.

Westlake scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dum misses with a straight left.

Westlake looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

No joy there for Westlake, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dum is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Westlake.

and Westlake counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

enabling Westlake to counter with a crisp jab.

Dum doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Westlake scores with a one two! Dum had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Dum displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Westlake throws out the jab.

A countering left hand to the body from Westlake misses.

Dum rushes Westlake and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Westlake lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dum or not.
Dum really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Westlake blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Westlake digs a right hand underneath Dum's ribcage. Dum let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Westlake wants to break free but Dum has control.

Oh Dum is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Westlake ducks under a wild hook from Dum.
Westlake cracks Dum with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
