Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rumina Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Lee !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rumina Sato!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a two punch combination.
Sato misses with a few strikes there.
Lee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sato will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Sato. Sato gets slowly back to his feet.
Lee pushes Sato away with a front kick.
Sato throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee .
Lee drives through and clinches with Sato against the cage.

Sato changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sato working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lee is looking for a sweep.
Sato is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lee has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee tries to improve position but can't.
Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sato tries to advance to mount but Lee denies him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sato tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sato has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lee wants to control but Sato postures up.
Lee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sato wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Sato tries to advance to mount but can't.
Sato is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lee has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee tries to buck Sato off but Sato is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sato paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A head kick misses from Lee .
Lee clinches.
Lee manages to pull guard.
Sato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Sato is squirming around, avoiding Lee 's attempts to control the action.

Lee wants to control the pace but Sato is squirming around nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Bruce Lee will probably get the nod.

Lee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sato has Lee pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sato pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lee tumbling to the mat - Sato dives into Lee 's guard.

Lee pushes Sato off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Sato chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lee can pounce on him.

Sato had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lee is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sato Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lee 's back instead.
Sato is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Lee is defending well though. Sato let's go of the attempt for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bruce Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
