Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darrell Abbott!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparrow moves forwards but Abbott connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Abbott slips a jab from Sparrow.
Abbott has a takedown stuffed.
A decent looking cross lands there for Abbott.
Abbott keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Despite the aggression on Abbott's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Sparrow throws a hook to the side of Abbott's head but Abbott sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Abbott slips under a jab.
Sparrow swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sparrow takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sparrow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Abbott was well out of range. Poor timing from Sparrow.
A jab from Sparrow misses.
Abbott jabs Sparrow right on the nose. Sparrow blinks but takes it well.
Abbott throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sparrow's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Abbott is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Darrell Abbott has been cut.
Abbott has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Abbott slips under a jab.
Sparrow takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sparrow misses with a series of wild punches.
Abbott throws a series of punches but Sparrow avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Abbott buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rico Sparrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sparrow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Abbott.
Sparrow throws an off balance right hand
and Abbott counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sparrow misses with a looping right.
Sparrow on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Abbott moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Abbott lands a big head kick that sends Sparrow tumbling to the mat! Abbott takes a step backwards and waves Sparrow back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sparrow throws an off balance right hand
and Abbott counters with a flying knee that drops Sparrow! Abbott dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darrell Abbott!
A relieved looking Darrell Abbott thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
