The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhew closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mayhew is pressed up against the cage. Swebster has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mayhew down to the mat. Mayhew avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Swebster tries for a takedown but Mayhew sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mayhew misses with a combination
and Swebster counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mayhew won't be happy with that.
Swebster is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mayhew has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on Mayhew's face as Swebster controls the position.
Mayhew is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Swebster take his back! Uh oh - Swebster has got a rear naked choke here! Mayhew is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!
