Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Fanstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kenny Crane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lewis Fanstein ! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fanstein shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fanstein slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Crane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fanstein can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fanstein looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fanstein wants to pass the guard but Crane is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fanstein slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Fanstein working the ground and pound. Fanstein really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fanstein taking a breather here. Crane tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Fanstein slows the pace down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fanstein tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fanstein has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fanstein is putting a hurting on Crane here, landing some big shots from side control. Fanstein decides to take the fight back to the feet. Fanstein moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fanstein has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Crane clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Fanstein is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Crane could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Fanstein working for the choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fanstein tightening his grip on Crane, looking for the choke. Crane preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Fanstein . Fanstein lands strikes to the head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! I would not like to be Crane right now.
Crane is trying to remain composed but Fanstein is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lewis Fanstein dominated that round. That's time! Crane's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fanstein feints and as Crane raises his hands in defense, Fanstein changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Crane keeping full guard, as Fanstein tries to pass. Lewis Fanstein has got the better of the ground game so far. Fanstein controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Fanstein tries to free his leg and advance position but Crane is retaining full guard. Fanstein not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Crane keeping full guard, as Fanstein tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crane is working an open guard so Fanstein takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crane looks for a takedown but Fanstein sprawls well. A countering left hand to the body from Fanstein misses. Crane is looking to clinch but Fanstein is avoiding it.
Fanstein clinches up against the cage. Fanstein has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Crane regains guard immediately. Fanstein controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Fanstein sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Crane's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fanstein seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fanstein seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Fanstein controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fanstein is working for a kimura but Crane is defending it quite comfortably.
Fanstein stands up out of the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fanstein closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Crane might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fanstein is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Fanstein perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Fanstein slips a nice elbow through Crane's hands, connecting with Crane's forehead. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fanstein controlling the action here. Fanstein has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fanstein landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lewis Fanstein showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Fanstein drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Crane is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Fanstein dives into side control.
Fanstein controls the position. Fanstein working the ground and pound from side control.
Crane is rocked! Fanstein working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Oh Crane is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Fanstein decides to stand up, so the ref orders Crane to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fanstein closes the distance looking for a takedown. Crane stuffs it but Fanstein still has hold of him. Fanstein picks Crane up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Fanstein slams Crane to the floor and that's really hurt Crane - he doesn't know where he is! Fanstein throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
