Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jani McPetteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batista comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Walk Alone kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dave Batista!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A good leg kick by McPetteri.
McPetteri lands a leg kick that knocks Batista off balance momentarily.
We've been told by McPetteri's head coaches at KO Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
McPetteri buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Batista has a takedown stuffed.
An inside leg kick lands from McPetteri.
McPetteri drops Batista with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Batista looks back up at him and smiles so McPetteri waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Batista is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McPetteri scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
McPetteri fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Batista fails with a takedown attempt.
McPetteri throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! McPetteri throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Batista is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jani McPetteri!
