Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pari Jakh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Des James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has chosen Engine no 9 as his entrance music. The key to victory for Pari Jakh has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pari Jakh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Des James! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jakh fails with a takedown attempt. Jakh throws the kick towards the body but James avoids it. Jakh is looking to clinch. James was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. James dives in and grabs Jakh's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jakh pushes down on James's head and hops out. Jakh is looking to counter the offense by James and move into the clinch. James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jakh's waist but Jakh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side. An inside leg kick lands from Jakh. Jakh darts in looking for a takedown but James gets double underhooks and turns Jakh into the cage. James keeps the fight on the outside. A countering left hand to the body from James misses. James stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pari Jakh. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James misses with a head kick.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Jakh enables James to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jakh manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. James won't allow Jakh to sweep him here. James gets to his feet - Jakh follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jakh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jakh wants it to stay on the feet. James fails to land with a series of punches.
James shoots in for a double leg but Jakh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. James stuffs a takedown. James tries to land knees in the clinch but Jakh avoids the damage to the body. James pulls Jakh into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. James is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. James keeping moving, preventing Jakh from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jakh stays in close to James's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James pulls Jakh in close to prevent any damage. Jakh throws a strike but James rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jakh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. James gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. James lands a couple of decent looking shots. Jakh is trying to keep James in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. James slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jakh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. James sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jakh's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jakh is looking for a sweep. James is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jakh is trying to maintain the position but James is very close to passing his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jakh looks like he's thinking about clinching though. James forces Jakh back against the cage and clinches. James pulls Jakh into guard.
Jakh trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jakh looking to sit in guard and control but James gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jakh swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. James landing some decent shots from guard. Jakh is working an open guard so James takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. James swats away the attempt to clinch by Jakh. Jakh scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. James clinches up with Jakh and pushes him back against the cage. Jakh is defending well against a takedown attempt. Jakh breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. James shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jakh's guard. James showing good wrestling skills to control the position. James postures up.
Jakh can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as James controls the pace. James postures up and lands a big shot to Jakh's brow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jakh is looking for a triangle but James pushes his legs off easily.
Jakh wants to stand up but James is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jakh's head. Jakh is trying to control the position but James postures up. James looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. James is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Nice sprawl there from James as Jakh shoots in. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. James fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jakh to the ground. James is now in Jakh's guard. James forces his way into half guard. James is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. James is looking to advance position but Jakh won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. James stalling. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. James escapes and gets back to his feet. Jakh clinches with his opponent.
James drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jakh pulls his leg out and moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Des James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

James controlling the action here. Jakh slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

James's corner is telling him to maintain position. James won't allow Jakh to sweep him here. James landing with the ground and pound. James tries to free his leg and advance position but Jakh is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. James slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. James fails with a takedown attempt. James has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jakh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? James is fending him off so far but Jakh persists. Nope, James circles away and we're back to standing. Jakh misses with the combination.
Jakh gets off balance looking for a body kick and James counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Jakh manages to escape and get back to his feet! Both fighters are breathing heavily. James shoots for a takedown but Jakh saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. James seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Jakh trying to hold on to James's head to control him but James postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. James is figuring out what he wants to do next. James stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Nice takedown defense from James. No joy for Jakh on that attempt. A little jabbing left from James on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Jakh defending well as James loads up on a big left hand. Jakh feinted with a counter takedown. Jakh blocks the body kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jakh doesn't manage to clinch there - James circles away.
James fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jakh to the ground. James is now in Jakh's guard. Pari Jakh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Des James is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. James makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Des James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got James winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Des James wins by unanimous decision! A relieved looking Des James thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
