Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Haji Muakbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Pavano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muakbar comes to the ring accompanied by That Punjabi Jay-Z song. Pavano has chosen Trash Tongue Talker as his entrance music. Micky Pavano is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
38 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Haji Muakbar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Micky Pavano! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Muakbar looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pavano throws a right and a left that both miss. Pavano avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Pavano misses with a wild body shot. Muakbar lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Micky Pavano has been cut. Muakbar avoids a punch combination nicely.
Muakbar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pavano tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Muakbar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Muakbar lands in his opponent's guard. Pavano preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've been hearing good reports from Muakbar's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Pavano is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pavano looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pavano is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muakbar trying to control the position from guard on top but Pavano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Pavano working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Muakbar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Muakbar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Muakbar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Muakbar stands up over Pavano, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Muakbar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Pavano looking for a guillotine here but Muakbar defends easily.
Muakbar looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Muakbar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Muakbar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Muakbar scoring with some ground and pound. Pavano trying to control the position.
Pavano had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Muakbar defends it easily. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Pavano working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Muakbar. Pavano looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Muakbar landing with the ground and pound. Pavano has his foot on Muakbar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Muakbar works his way back into a safe position though. Pavano is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Muakbar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Muakbar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pavano has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Muakbar has managed to get both his arms back between Pavano's legs - danger averted. Muakbar lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muakbar is working Pavano over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pavano is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pavano has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Muakbar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Muakbar passes easily into side control. Nice work. Muakbar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pavano is trying to get back to half guard. Muakbar working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That has opened up Micky Pavano's cut even more. Pavano stops Muakbar from passing to mount. Pavano taking punishment in the form of punches.
Pavano is rocked! Muakbar landing strikes. Pavano is still in real trouble! Can Muakbar finish him? Muakbar scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Pavano is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Muakbar can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Haji Muakbar! A very excited looking Haji Muakbar made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
