Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mi Han Lo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Maher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Han Lo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Turning Japanese - the vapors. Jason Maher has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Han Lo misses with a looping left.

Maher shoots in and gets a takedown into Han Lo's guard.

Maher drops back, looking for a kneebar! Han Lo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Han Lo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Han Lo!

Maher is stalling here. Han Lo is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Maher seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Han Lo has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

That was a close round but I would say that Mi Han Lo will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Han Lo sizes up Maher with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Maher shoots in looking for a takedown but Han Lo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Maher's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Maher rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Han Lo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Maher takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Han Lo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Maher can do to turn this around?

Maher has his foot on Han Lo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Han Lo works his way back into a safe position though.
Han Lo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Han Lo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Maher's guard.
Han Lo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Maher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Maher fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Han Lo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Maher is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Han Lo's shoulder. That is not cool.
My spies in Arvins Bootcamp inform me that Maher has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Well Han Lo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
