Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenalemodisa Mabogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Petely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mabogo comes into the arena with 3 Doors Down - Duck and Run blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 22 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenalemodisa Mabogo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Petely! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Petely tries to score a body lock takedown but Mabogo shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Mabogo lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Petely tries to roll over but Mabogo keeps him under control. Mabogo is looking for a kimura here.

Mabogo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petely actively working from the bottom here. Petely moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Petely keeping full guard, as Mabogo tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petely tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mabogo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Petely has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Mabogo wants to pass the guard but Petely is keeping the position. Mabogo trying to control the position from guard on top but Petely is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mabogo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Petely keeping moving, preventing Mabogo from controlling successfully. Petely is looking for a triangle but Mabogo pushes his legs off easily.
Mabogo wants to control from the top but Petely keeps moving. Mabogo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Petely working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mabogo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mabogo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mabogo's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Petely looking for a sweep. Not yet Petely, not yet. Mabogo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Mabogo trying to control but Petely is working from the bottom. Petely looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Petely is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mabogo landing with the ground and pound. Mabogo passes into half guard. Mabogo tries to pass to full mount but Petely defends it. Petely looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Mabogo content to control rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mabogo trying to control the action but Petely is working from the bottom. Petely misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Mabogo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Petely looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Mabogo wants to take a breather but Petely is having none of it. Mabogo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Petely is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Petely is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Petely looking for submissions off his back. Mabogo lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Mabogo is looking to take a break and control but Petely is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mabogo works his way into full mount! Mabogo landing punches. Mabogo fails to advance to Petely's back. Mabogo avoids the attempt from Petely to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Petely is squirming around, avoiding Mabogo's attempts to control the action. Mabogo prevents Petely from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenalemodisa Mabogo dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mabogo pushes Petely up against the cage in a clinch. Petely has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mabogo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Petely wants to take the fight to the mat but Mabogo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Petely has Mabogo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mabogo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kenalemodisa Mabogo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Petely. Petely has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mabogo after a bit of a struggle. Petely tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

It looks like Peter Petely has been cut. Petely takes a knee to the side of the body. Mabogo lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Mabogo using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mabogo landing knees to the body.
Mabogo scores with an uppercut up the middle. A left hand lands to the body for Mabogo.
Petely is breathing heavily. Nice elbow from Mabogo.
Petely is rocked! Mabogo lands a shoulder strike. Petely is still on wobbly legs! Can Mabogo finish him? Mabogo unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Petely! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Mabogo is unloading with more strikes now! Petely drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenalemodisa Mabogo! In his post fight interview, Kenalemodisa Mabogo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
