Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johny Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Myres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vargas comes to the cage accompanied by Drake - Trophies. Myres comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In the End by Linkin Park kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johny Vargas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Myres!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas throws a right and a left that Myres avoids nicely.
Myres takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Shane Myres has been cut.
Myres tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vargas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Myres somewhat.
Vargas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vargas lands with a hook. Myres tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nice uppercut there from Vargas.
Myres looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vargas is fending him off so far but Myres persists. Nope, Vargas circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown attempt by Myres or perhaps it was just good defense by Vargas, which made it look bad.
It looked like Vargas was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Johny Vargas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Myres.
Myres shoots in for a takedown but Vargas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Myres fails to land the takedown.
Vargas seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Vargas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Myres walks into a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vargas drops Myres with a left right combo! Vargas follows him down to the ground into side control.
Myres is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Myres tries to improve position but can't.
Myres is still in real trouble! Can Vargas finish him?
Vargas decides to stand back up. Vargas steps back and let's Myres get back to his feet.
Myres looks winded!
Vargas lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Myres out cold! Myres is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Johny Vargas!
Our winner, Johny Vargas, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
