Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gary Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Petersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steven Petersen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steven Petersen!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Adams. Those never looked like landing.
Adams fails to land the takedown.
Adams checks a low kick from Petersen.
Petersen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Petersen misses the jab.
Adams staying out of range there.
Petersen misses with a looping right.
Petersen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Adams tries to clinch but Petersen moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams checks a leg kick.
Adams appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Adams slips a straight right by Petersen.
Petersen misses with a wild body shot.
Adams misses with a takedown
enabling Petersen to counter with a crisp jab.

Petersen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Petersen lands with a hook. Adams tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Adams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Petersen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Adams darts in looking for a takedown but Petersen gets double underhooks and turns Adams into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adams moves into the clinch successfully.
Petersen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A punch lands to the side of Adams 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Petersen misses with a kick to the body
and Adams counters with a three punch combo that has Petersen backing up. Petersen nods at Adams to acknowledge the strikes.
Adams takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Petersen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Good standup being displayed there by Petersen as he connects with a hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petersen slaps away a takedown attempt from Adams, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A slow jab from Petersen misses its intended target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Adams.
Adams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Petersen to score with a decent uppercut.
Petersen feints and then cracks Adams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Adams down.
Adams tries to close the distance and clinch but Petersen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Adams gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Petersen breaks the clinch.
Nice uppercut lands for Petersen. That snapped Adams's head back.
Nice defenses there by Adams.
Adams steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Petersen.
Petersen connects with a solid leg kick.
Petersen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Adams is looking to clinch but Petersen is avoiding it.
Petersen throws out a counter right but Adams avoids it with no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Adams walks into a left hand.
Good shot there by Petersen.
Adams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Petersen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Adams somewhat.
Steven Petersen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Adams tries to clinch but Petersen is having none of it.

Petersen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Petersen fails with the takedown.
Petersen misses with a low kick.
Adams takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Petersen feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Adams crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Steven Petersen!
