Bronie comes into the arena with Cactus Jack blaring out of the sound system. Slow Learner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Learner moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Learner circles away from the clinch attempt.
Slow Learner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bronie looks for the body kick but Learner saw that one coming.
Learner lands a nice shot that snaps Bronie's head back.
Bronie on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Good shot there by Learner.

Bronie connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bronie creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Learner is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Bronie is trying to maintain a safe position but Learner gets an underhook and turns Bronie into the cage.
Learner tries to break free but Bronie pushes him back against the cage.
Bronie tries a knee to the head but Learner blocks it.
Bronie throws a knee to the head but misses.
Learner working hard to break the clinch.
Bronie tries to score a body lock takedown but Learner shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Learner tries to break the clinch but Bronie is controlling the position.

Learner is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bronie is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Learner to the mat. Learner regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Learner wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Bronie manages to pass to side control.

Bronie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bronie lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Bronie is controlling the pace.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bronie lands with a punch from half guard.
Bronie stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Anthony Jay Bronie will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Learner lands with an overhand left.
Bronie ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jab, jab by Learner - just one landing.
Bronie takes one to the side of the head.
Bronie on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bronie takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Learner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Bronie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bronie.
Bronie is standing up over Learner. Learner looks to escape but Bronie dives into side control.

Learner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bronie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bronie lands a nice forearm strike.
Bronie connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Learner some visible discomfort.
Bronie advances nicely into full mount.
Bronie unloading with bombs!

That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bronie cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Learner is rocked!
Bronie lands a big shot to the head and Learner winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Anthony Jay Bronie!
A relieved looking Anthony Jay Bronie thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
