The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustin tries a head kick but it misses.
Sis misses with a head kick.
Sis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Sis misses with a shot to the body
and Gustin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gustin throws a nice head kick!
Sis keeps the fight on the outside.
Sis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gustin.
Gustin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sis misses with a hook.
Gustin tries to clinch up
and Sis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Melvin Gustin has been cut.

Gustin clinches with his opponent.

Gustin breaks the clinch.

Sis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gustin is trying to break the clinch but Sis has him pressed against the cage.
Gustin gets through Sis's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Sis lands with a right to the head.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Gustin.
Gustin tries to work over Sis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sis lands a body punch.
Sis is looking for a takedown.
A head punch on the inside from Sis fails to land.
Sis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Sis misses with a hook to the ribs.

Gustin breaks from the clinch.
Sis throws a low kick but Gustin moves out of range easily.
Sis takes a swing at Gustin's ribcage but misses.
Gustin tries a head kick but it misses.
Gustin ducks under a wild hook from Sis.
Gustin is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Sis.
Gustin misses with the combination.
Sis scores with a hook.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sis lands a nice hook to Gustin's body. Gustin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gustin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Gustin is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sis rushes Gustin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Gustin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Sis scrambles and takes Gustin's back. He's looking to land a suplex. Oh, he's managed it! Gustin bangs his head on the mat and seems dazed! The ref takes a look and decides to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Nem Sis!
