0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joaquin Nadir Mateo Shareef! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stuart will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mateo Shareef let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Mateo Shareef gets the takedown into side control. Mateo Shareef is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stuart will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Stuart is trying to control Mateo Shareef's posture but Mateo Shareef avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mateo Shareef takes a little break here. Stuart wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Stuart is looking to regain half guard here but Mateo Shareef keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mateo Shareef is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stuart will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mateo Shareef tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Stuart struggling a bit here. A lull in the action here. Stuart defending against the ground and pound. Mateo Shareef works to advance to full mount. Stuart defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mateo Shareef landing shots from mount.

It looks like Chang Stuart has been cut. Mateo Shareef unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Stuart wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Mateo Shareef celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
