Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tedy Bolec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Garland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tedy Bolec! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Connor Garland! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bolec looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Bolec seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Garland had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bolec defends it easily. Garland lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garland preventing the sweep. Garland stops Bolec from standing up. Garland drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bolec manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Garland has Bolec in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garland is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Garland trying to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bolec drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bolec jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bolec trying to control but Garland is working from the bottom. Garland working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bolec doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bolec manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bolec could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Garland is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Garland looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bolec is one step ahead there. Bolec is looking to work some ground and pound but Garland has wrist control. Bolec has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bolec wants to control from the top but Garland keeps moving. Bolec trying to move into half guard but instead Garland has managed to sweep! Garland is fighting to break Bolec's control of his arms but Bolec is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Garland trying to control but Bolec is working from the bottom. Bolec is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bolec is pulling down on Garland's head to control his posture. Bolec lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Well, if Bolec is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bolec prevents Garland from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Connor Garland will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Garland fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bolec shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Garland but Garland pushes him off and we're back to square one. Garland tries to counter with a clinch but Bolec shakes him off and moves away. Garland gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bolec lands a shoulder strike. Bolec blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Garland is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garland has had enough of the clinch but Bolec keeps him there for the moment. Bolec is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Garland pulls him back up using the underhooks. Garland looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Bolec changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Garland fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Garland fails with the takedown. Bolec wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Bolec is trying hard to land a takedown here. Garland sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bolec fails with the takedown. Garland decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bolec tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Garland has advanced to mount. Uh oh. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garland has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bolec's face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garland looking to control but Bolec is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Garland has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Garland fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Garland goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bolec turns into him and now he's in Garland's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garland keeping full guard, as Bolec tries to pass. Bolec trying to control but Garland is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bolec preventing the sweep. Bolec might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bolec slips nicely into half guard. Bolec wants to take a breather but Garland is having none of it. Garland is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Garland is trying to stand back up but Bolec is controlling him
Bolec trying to mount his opponent but Garland defends it. Connor Garland has got the better of the ground game so far. Garland gets full guard. Garland wants to sweep but no luck. Garland is looking to stand up but Bolec isn't so interested in that idea. Bolec passes into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Garland is not content to let Bolec control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Connor Garland showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Bolec appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Garland rushes Bolec and presses him up against the cage. Garland works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Bolec throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Garland tries to free his leg and advance position but Bolec is retaining full guard. Garland stands up from Bolec's guard - Garland perhaps looking for a knockout. Garland throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bolec throws a big right hand that misses. Bolec throws a big elbow that misses. Garland is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bolec controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bolec postures up.

Garland has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bolec can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bolec pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Garland is keeping the position for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bolec trying to control but Garland is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Garland's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bolec tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Garland swivels and escapes. Garland wants to counter the offense by Bolec and move into the clinch position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bolec stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bolec wants it to stay on the feet. Bolec wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Bolec wants to clinch up but Garland keeps it at a distance. Bolec backing away here, and Garland unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Tedy Bolec has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Connor Garland is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bolec goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Connor Garland. I've got Garland winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
