Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarkhan Naranbaatar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jiu Jitsu: Vai Finaliza!. Naranbaatar has chosen Batzorig Vaanchig as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tarkhan Naranbaatar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naranbaatar throws a lazy uppercut

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Naranbaatar won't be happy with that.
Naranbaatar is trying to improve his position.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Naranbaatar keeps working.
Naranbaatar manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Naranbaatar pulls his head out easily.
Naranbaatar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gracie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie is trying to control but can't.

Naranbaatar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gracie regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Naranbaatar.
Naranbaatar trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Naranbaatar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Naranbaatar is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Naranbaatar is pushing down on Gracie's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gracie is fighting to maintain full guard but Naranbaatar has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Naranbaatar is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Gracie is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Naranbaatar is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action.
Naranbaatar is trying desperately to improve position.

What can Naranbaatar do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Gracie is trying to stick to Naranbaatar's back but Naranbaatar is turning into Gracie. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Gracie's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Naranbaatar.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ramon Gracie will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
