Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keimah Animai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Jonathon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Animai comes into the arena with Rise - Flobots blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonathon shoots in but no luck this time.
Animai throws a body punch but Jonathon moves out of range.
Animai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jonathon moves away.
Jonathon feints the counter takedown.
Animai scores with a one two! Jonathon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Animai misses with a leg kick
and Jonathon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jonathon is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Animai looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jonathon is one step ahead there.
Jonathon sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Jonathon postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jonathon with a nice head shot there.
Jonathon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Animai manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jonathon has Animai in his guard.
Jonathon has his foot on Animai's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Animai works his way back into a safe position though.
Jonathon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Animai controls the pace.
Jonathon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Animai defends well.
Jonathon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jonathon is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Animai has his hands clasped together but Jonathon extends and breaks Animai's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jonathon.
