PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Rumble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shaun Rumble was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rumble missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jackson is breathing heavily. Jackson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jackson finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Rumble's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Jackson falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shaun Rumble! In his post fight interview, Shaun Rumble started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
