Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Lennon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyle Rad!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rad avoids the head kick by Lennon.
Lennon throws a body shot but no joy.
Lennon throws a looping overhand right but Rad ducks down to avoid it.
Lennon looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Rad connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A solid body kick from Lennon.
Lennon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lennon lands with a shot to the body.
Rad throws a body shot but no joy.
Rad pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lennon is out of range and Rad settles back down.
Lennon on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rad. Rad obviously looking to wear him down.

Lennon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lennon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rad wants to slow Lennon down by chopping away at his legs.
Lennon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Lennon pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rad back to the cage. Lennon follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.


Rad is rocked!
Rad pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lennon is out of range and Rad settles back down.

Lennon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lennon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rad moves away.

and Lennon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rad uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lennon.

Rad uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lennon.
Lennon looks to score with a jab to the body but Rad is just out of range.
Lennon throws a lazy head kick
and Rad counters with a slapping leg kick.
Lennon swings for the body but Rad moves out of range.
Rad throws a nice outside leg kick.
Rad does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rad lands a head kick. Lennon smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Rad misses with a low kick.
Rad moves out of range of the body kick.
Rad shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lennon eats them both and turns towards Rad to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Rad jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lennon moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Lennon avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Lennon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rad sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rad raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rad connects with a solid leg kick.
Rad moves out of range as Lennon throws a body kick.
Rad keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lennon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rad moves away.
Rad is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Lennon with a body shot.
Rad lands a nice looking body shot.
Lennon just misses with a punch to the body.
Lennon misses with a kick to the body
and Rad counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lennon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rad - the referee stops the clock and Lennon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rad. Lennon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Lennon throws a jab when Rad was well out of range.
Lennon just misses with a punch to the body.
Rad was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Rad fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lennon walks forward, straight into a front kick from Rad.
Rad is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lennon takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rad cracks Lennon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rad scores with the left hand. Lennon knows he should have avoided that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kyle Rad will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Lennon is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Lennon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rad manages to avoid it.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Rad. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

As Lennon backs off Rad throws a huge counter combo but Lennon manages to avoid it all.

Rad feints and then cracks Lennon's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lennon down.

Rad looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rad decides to stand up.
Lennon misses with a lunging right hand
and Rad connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lennon throws a body kick that misses.
Lennon blocks a head kick by Rad.
Rad misses with a leg kick.
Lennon lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle Rad showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Lennon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rad moves out of range of the body kick from Lennon.
Lennon finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Lennon is rocked!
Rad ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Lennon's jaw. Lennon's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Rad does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kyle Rad!
During a confident post fight interview, Kyle Rad thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
