The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Oliveira closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mendoza's guard.
De Oliveira is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Mendoza wants to sweep here but De Oliveira controlling him for the moment.
Mendoza throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
