Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Krystian Olafsson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brutus Beefcake! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olafsson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Beefcake throws a counter combo. Olafsson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Beefcake moves into the clinch successfully.
Beefcake has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Olafsson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Olafsson wants to escape the position.
Beefcake is looking for a choke. Olafsson gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Olafsson manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Beefcake is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Olafsson wants to get back to full guard. Beefcake with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beefcake escapes and gets back to his feet. Olafsson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Olafsson wants it to stay on the feet. Beefcake wants to clinch up but Olafsson keeps it at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Beefcake moves into range and clinches up with Olafsson. Beefcake has Olafsson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Beefcake pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Olafsson tumbling to the mat - Beefcake dives into Olafsson's guard. Olafsson is trying to control the position but Beefcake postures up. Beefcake controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Olafsson working for a triangle but Beefcake defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beefcake stands and steps away. Olafsson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Beefcake closes the distance and clinches. Olafsson gets underhooks to prevent Beefcake's takedown attempt.
Beefcake gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Beefcake is looking to advance position but Olafsson won't allow it. Beefcake stalling. Olafsson wants to improve his position but Beefcake is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beefcake keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Olafsson trying to hold on to Beefcake's head to control him but Beefcake postures up.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Beefcake decides to return to a standing position. Beefcake throws a combination that misses and Beefcake takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beefcake clinches up against the cage. Olafsson is trying to break the clinch but Beefcake has him pressed against the cage. Beefcake is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Olafsson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Beefcake has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Olafsson is trying to keep an underhook but Beefcake manages to get the takedown into half guard. Beefcake sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Olafsson defending well though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beefcake shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beefcake's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beefcake is continuing to stall. Beefcake throws a big right hand that misses. Olafsson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Beefcake passes into half guard.
Beefcake gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Olafsson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Beefcake lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Beefcake tries to clinch up and Olafsson counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Beefcake or perhaps it was just good defense by Olafsson, which made it look bad. Beefcake tries to clinch but Olafsson is having none of it. Krystian Olafsson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Olafsson scores with a nice strike. Beefcake misses with a body punch
and Olafsson counters with a straight right hand. Olafsson lands with a nice combination. Beefcake backs away looking to recover. Beefcake closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Beefcake tries to pull guard but Olafsson won't allow it.
Krystian Olafsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brutus Beefcake. A left hand lands to the body for Olafsson.
Beefcake is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beefcake tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Olafsson smiles and moves away.
Olafsson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Beefcake takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Beefcake fails with the takedown. Olafsson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Beefcake. Beefcake circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A combination from Olafsson does no damage. Olafsson looks to land a combination. Beefcake sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Beefcake takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Olafsson jabs at Beefcake's body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice cross by Olafsson. Olafsson cracks a nice hook into Beefcake's ribs. Brutus Beefcake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Olafsson scores with a decent looking hook. Olafsson connects with a nice looking jab.
Beefcake moves forwards but Olafsson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Beefcake is rocked! Olafsson connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Beefcake tumbling to the canvas! Olafsson pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Beefcake was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Krystian Olafsson! Krystian Olafsson retains his heavyweight title!
