Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michio Kaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Buslov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kaku might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to We will rock you. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Viktor Buslov! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaku closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kaku lands in his opponent's guard. Kaku lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Kaku throwing strikes from guard but Buslov blocks nicely. Buslov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kaku is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kaku missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kaku trying to control the position from guard on top but Buslov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kaku postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Buslov wants to sweep here but Kaku controlling him for the moment.

Buslov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Buslov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kaku. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kaku wants to free his trapped foot but Buslov is holding on for dear life with his legs. Kaku looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Kaku fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kaku will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Buslov is squirming around, avoiding Kaku's attempts to control the action. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kaku looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

As Buslov tries to get set, Kaku tries to push him back and clinch up but Buslov manages to avoid the attempt. A punch combination from Buslov misses. Buslov connects with a looping right hand.
Kaku has his takedown stuffed and Buslov counters by moving into the clinch. Kaku tries to pull guard but Buslov holds him up against the cage and eventually Kaku drops back down to his feet.

Buslov takes a swing at Kaku's ribcage but misses. Buslov throws a nice looking combination but Kaku bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kaku closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Buslov did well to prevent Kaku getting side control. Kaku is trying to control. Buslov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kaku is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Buslov is just riding it out for now. Kaku eventually gives up the hold. Kaku tries to pass the half guard into mount. Buslov knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Kaku has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kaku is nestled in close to Buslov, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kaku frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kaku shoots for a double leg takedown but Buslov sprawls well. He's pushed Kaku's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Buslov is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Buslov scores with a shot to the body.
Kaku looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Buslov lands with a good body shot. Kaku manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Buslov on his heels. He'll look to pass Buslov's guard now, I'm sure. Kaku wants to control from the top but Buslov keeps moving. Buslov wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. Not this time though. Buslov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kaku wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buslov keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Michio Kaku overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Buslov trying to hold on to Kaku's head to control him but Kaku postures up.
Kaku wants to take a breather but Buslov is having none of it. Buslov tries to kick Kaku off but Kaku keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Buslov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Buslov looks to land a combination but Kaku avoids it well. Kaku shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Buslov sprawls well. Buslov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kaku gets slowly back to his feet.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kaku looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Michio Kaku showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kaku, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
