Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Fevzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Ragnarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ahmed Fevzi has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ahmed Fevzi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bjorn Ragnarson! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ragnarson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fevzi on his heels. He'll look to pass Fevzi's guard now, I'm sure. Ragnarson preventing the sweep. Fevzi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fevzi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ragnarson throws a big right hand that misses. Ragnarson controlling from the top position. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ragnarson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Ragnarson throwing strikes from guard but Fevzi blocks nicely. Fevzi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ragnarson is looking to stand up but Fevzi won't let him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ragnarson content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fevzi keeping full guard, as Ragnarson tries to pass. Fevzi is looking to sweep but instead, Ragnarson has passed into half guard.
Fevzi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Ragnarson wants to control from the top but Fevzi keeps moving. Ragnarson postures up.
Fevzi tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ragnarson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fevzi is trying to control the position but Ragnarson postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fevzi shoots in for a double leg but Ragnarson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ragnarson fails with a takedown attempt. Ragnarson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fevzi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fevzi wants to pass to mount but Ragnarson is defending the position. Ragnarson is trying to maintain the position but Fevzi is very close to passing his half guard. Fevzi working Ragnarson over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ragnarson is controlling Fevzi's trapped leg to prevent Fevzi from advancing to side control. Ragnarson trying to hold on to Fevzi's head to control him but Fevzi postures up.
Fevzi trying to control from half guard but Ragnarson is working away. Fevzi passes the guard and advances to mount! Ragnarson is desperately trying to improve his position but Fevzi has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fevzi looking to control but Ragnarson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Fevzi fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fevzi looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Fevzi punishing his opponent with strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fevzi gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Fevzi shoots in for a double leg but Ragnarson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ahmed Fevzi dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ragnarson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Fevzi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Fevzi sneaks back into half guard. Ragnarson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Ragnarson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ragnarson has closed the distance and engaged Fevzi in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ragnarson can't find room to land a body shot as Fevzi controls the action.
Fevzi scores with a hook to the body. Ragnarson tries to stall but Fevzi uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Fevzi tries to score a body lock takedown but Ragnarson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Fevzi is defending well against a takedown attempt. Ragnarson stops a takedown attempt from Fevzi.
Ragnarson wants to take the fight to the mat but Fevzi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Ragnarson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fevzi prevents it.
Ahmed Fevzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjorn Ragnarson. Ragnarson is breathing heavily. Ragnarson tries to pull guard but Fevzi holds him up against the cage and eventually Ragnarson drops back down to his feet.
Fevzi is pressed up against the cage. Ragnarson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fevzi down to the mat. Fevzi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ragnarson thows a leg kick but Fevzi checks it and Fevzi counters with a takedown into side control. Fevzi lands a few punches from side control. Fevzi fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Fevzi scores with a couple of short elbows. Fevzi works to advance to full mount. Ragnarson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Ragnarson tries to reverse the position but Fevzi maintains control. Fevzi lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ragnarson hang on? Ragnarson is in a horrible position here. Fevzi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Fevzi is working for a guillotine from mount but Ragnarson frees his head quite easily.
Fevzi with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fevzi prevents Ragnarson from getting the reversal. Fevzi blocks Ragnarson's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Fevzi working for a submission but Ragnarson is keeping him at bay. Fevzi lands a big shot to the head and Ragnarson winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ahmed Fevzi!
