Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Becks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BJ Becks acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson throws a head kick that misses.
Becks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Lawson.
You can see the frustration on Becks's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Becks tries to bench press Lawson off him but Lawson keeps the position.

Lawson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Becks rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lawson's guard! Nice work there by Becks!
Becks slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Becks decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lawson, up you get!
Becks throws a shot to the body.
Lawson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Becks's waist but Becks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lawson off to one side.

Becks is trying to escape the mount.

Lawson is working for a guillotine from mount but Becks frees his head quite easily.
Lawson is breathing heavily.
Becks is wriggling around trying to escape.
Becks is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Becks is looking to improve his position.

Lawson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Lawson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Becks does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Becks slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Lawson prevents Becks from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lawson trying to control the position from guard on top but Becks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Becks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lawson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Becks stuns Lawson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Lawson moves forwards but Becks connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Becks drops Lawson with a right and a left! Becks comes rushing in but Lawson regains his composure and manages to keep Becks in guard.

Lawson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Becks is controlling him.
Becks would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lawson wants to get back to his feet but Becks is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Becks decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
