The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikkonen throws a head kick but Yanhui moves out of range.
Mikkonen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mikkonen dives in for a single leg takedown but Yanhui sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Mikkonen needs to keep his hands up - Yanhui had a free shot at his head there.
Chau Yanhui seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yanhui steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Mikkonen.

Yanhui drops Mikkonen with a big knee straight up the middle! Mikkonen is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Yanhui moves into range and clinches up with Mikkonen.
Oh Mikkonen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yanhui takes control of his opponent's neck and spins him into the cage. Mikkonen is off balance and as he stumbles, Yanhui throws a jumping knee that lands flush on Mikkonen's chin, knocking him out cold! Oh my word - what a knockout! Definitely one for his highlight reel! If he ever decides to rob a bank and run off to Morocco, that moment is defintely worthy of a tacky mural!
