Diotte smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mutou is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Diotte moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Diotte!
Andrew Diotte was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
