Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Hampton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osulf Durin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durin has chosen Feuer Frei as his entrance music. Ivan Hampton could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Osulf Durin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Hampton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Osulf Durin! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hampton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Durin scores a takedown into full mount! Durin throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hampton because Durin loaded up on that one. A nice elbow there by Durin. Durin has hold of Hampton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hampton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Durin looking to secure an arm triangle but Hampton defends it well. Durin throws a sloppy strike and Hampton uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Hampton has ended up in Durin's guard.
Hampton pushing down on Durin's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Durin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Durin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hampton is working away from the top position though.

Durin looks gassed! Hampton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hampton passes into half guard. Durin is in trouble now - Hampton has advanced to mount! Hampton working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hampton lands with some strikes. Hampton is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Durin is surviving well by controlling Hampton's body position as best he can. Durin is working to get back to half guard.
Durin tries to hold on but Hampton postures up. Hampton controlling his opponent. Durin is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hampton trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durin is looking to improve his position but Hampton isn't that keen on the idea. Hampton putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Durin is desperately trying to improve his position but Hampton has a good base and remains in mount. Hampton scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Durin sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

A close round but Osulf Durin will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hampton stuffs the takedown attempt from Durin. Durin gets slowly back to his feet. Hampton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Durin swivels and escapes. Ivan Hampton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Durin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hampton counters with a nice double leg into guard. Hampton thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Durin controls Hampton momentarily but Hampton frees himself. Durin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hampton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Durin throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hampton uses it to pass to side control.

Hampton tries for a kimura but Durin is defending well. Durin manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hampton's best efforts. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Durin wants to control the action here but instead Hampton manages to pass to full mount! Hampton fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Durin can't escape the position.

Durin looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hampton performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hampton looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Durin is trying to get back to full guard. Hampton looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Durin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Durin looks to clinch and Hampton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Durin's guard. Hampton stopping the sweep attempt from Durin. Durin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Durin wants to stand and escape but Hampton is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Hampton dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Durin closes the distance looking to clinch and Hampton counters by clinching up. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Durin just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hampton's brow. Hampton manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Durin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Durin has gone for a leg lock! Hampton slips out almost immediately though and dives into Durin's guard. Hampton trying to control but Durin is working from the bottom. Durin has his foot on Hampton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hampton works his way back into a safe position though. Durin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hampton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Durin is working an open guard so Hampton takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durin tries to close the distance and clinch but Hampton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hampton shoots in for a double leg but Durin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Durin wants to clinch. Osulf Durin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Durin tries to clinch up and Hampton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Durin's guard now. Durin looking for a guillotine here but Hampton defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hampton fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Durin has closed the distance and engaged Hampton in a clinch.
Hampton has Durin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Durin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Hampton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Durin wants a takedown but no success here.
Hampton has picked Durin up - he's going for a ride! Hampton dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Durin manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hampton with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Durin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hampton has picked Durin up and slammed him! Durin can't keep hold of the triangle and Hampton manages to pass to side control! Durin pushes Hampton away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hampton gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Durin takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Durin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hampton trying to control the action but Durin is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Hampton showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hampton has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
