Shaman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shaman's Dream kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Whitaker Jr manages to avoid it.
Whitaker Jr connects with a body shot that sends Shaman's belly button to the back.

Whitaker Jr drops his hands momentarily and Shaman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Good leg kick by Whitaker Jr there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

We've been informed that Shaman has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Shaman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Whitaker Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Shaman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shaman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Shaman is looking to take a break and control but Whitaker Jr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

I would just about give that final round to Blind Shaman.
