Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Gideon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cosmo Kramer! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kramer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gideon as he avoids it easily. Horrible takedown by Kramer or perhaps it was just good defense by Gideon which made him look bad. Gideon moves into the clinch successfully.
Kramer goes for a takedown attempt but Gideon pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Justin Gideon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cosmo Kramer. Gideon takes the fight into the clinch. Gideon stops a takedown attempt from Kramer.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

He can't get it on this occasion though. Gideon is looking to break free of the clinch but Kramer has double underhooks. Gideon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kramer.
Gideon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gideon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kramer is looking to advance position but Gideon has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Gideon sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Gideon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kramer is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kramer can do anything to dispel that myth. Gideon controlling the pace for now. Kramer is in all sorts of trouble here.
