Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksey Basayev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Broken Bones - Decapitated. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ichabod Crane enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ichabod Crane!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basayev lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Basayev throws a predictable looking body shot
and Crane makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Basayev swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Crane throws a counter combo.
Crane missing with a left hand there. Basayev was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Basayev cracks Crane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Basayev throws a leg kick
and Crane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Crane ducks under a wild hook from Basayev.
Basayev connects with the punch.
Basayev takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Crane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Basayev wants to clinch
and Crane counters with a series of strikes that sends Basayev to the canvas! Crane follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Basayev wants to control but Crane passes easily into half guard.
Basayev is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Basayev has hold of Crane's hands but Crane slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Crane lands strikes from half guard.
Basayev is rocked!
Crane scores with a big shot! Basayev's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Basayev! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ichabod Crane!
An out of breath Ichabod Crane thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
