Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Fagaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dom Willis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Fagaro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Willis!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fagaro throws a hook but Willis blocks it.
Fagaro throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Willis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Despite the aggression on Willis's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Fagaro misses with a straight left.
Willis fails to land the takedown.
Willis shoots in for a takedown but Fagaro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fagaro is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Willis.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Willis. Fagaro shrugs it off though.
Willis thows a body kick. Fagaro tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Willis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fagaro connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Willis scrambles back to his feet.

Willis goes for a double leg but Fagaro avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fagaro continues to drive forward.
Don Fagaro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dom Willis.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Willis shoots in looking for a takedown. Fagaro tries to sprawl out of it but Willis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fagaro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No joy there for Willis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fagaro stuns Willis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Willis moves out of range of the strikes.
Willis changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Willis gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Willis throws the left hand but Fagaro avoids the punch easily.
Fagaro appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Willis pushes Fagaro up against the cage in a clinch.
Willis is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fagaro gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Fagaro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Willis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fagaro was covering up waiting for the punch and Willis finishes the takedown easily into guard.

My spies in Roosters Coop inform me that Willis has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Willis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fagaro walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Willis jabs Fagaro right on the nose. Fagaro blinks but takes it well.

Willis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fagaro napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Fagaro on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Fagaro is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Willis lands a nice short elbow.
Fagaro makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fagaro.

Willis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fagaro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Willis has managed to get both his arms back between Fagaro's legs - danger averted.
Willis is working Fagaro over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Willis is looking to work some ground and pound but Fagaro has wrist control.

Fagaro tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Willis content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Fagaro has locked up a guillotine! Fagaro's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Willis is holding on here and Fagaro must be using up a lot of energy. Willis has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Fagaro gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Don Fagaro!
After winning the bout, Don Fagaro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Dom Willis spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll be back better than ever!'.
