Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Nilsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dennis Nilsen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bradley Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dennis Nilsen! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nilsen throws a series of strikes that have Jackson backpedaling.
It looks like Bradley Jackson has been cut. Bradley Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson lands a body shot.
Nilsen throws a lazy head kick and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Dennis Nilsen has been cut. Jackson misses with a leg kick and Nilsen counters with a two punch combo. Nilsen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jackson takes a swing at Nilsen's ribcage but misses. Jackson throws a sloppy body shot
and Nilsen counters with a three punch combo that has Jackson backing up. Jackson nods at Nilsen to acknowledge the strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson looks to land a right hand but Nilsen moved out of range. Jackson misses with a left hand and Nilsen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A right-left combo lands from Nilsen. Nilsen tries a head kick but it misses.
Nilsen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jackson has time to react.
Jackson is rocked! Nilsen throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily. Nilsen avoids the body shot from Jackson.
Nilsen is looking for the big counter here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson misses with a hook
and Nilsen counters with a nice uppercut. Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bradley Jackson's cut is getting worse. Jackson looks to land a right hand but Nilsen moved out of range. Jackson seems to have got his legs back now. Jackson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Nilsen is retaining full guard. Nilsen controlling Jackson's posture. Nilsen has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Nilsen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Nilsen won't allow Jackson to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nilsen looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Nilsen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nilsen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jackson is looking to sweep but instead, Nilsen has passed into half guard.
Jackson looks like he's trying to stand up.

Nilsen stands and throws Jackson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Nilsen takes a little break here. Jackson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Nilsen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Jackson swings and misses with a shot to the body and Nilsen counters with a three punch combo that has Jackson backing up. Jackson nods at Nilsen to acknowledge the strikes. Dennis Nilsen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jackson misses with an uppercut
and Nilsen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nilsen looks to land a combination but Jackson avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson walks into a stiff left hand from Nilsen. Nilsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nilsen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson with a lazy takedown attempt and Nilsen counters with a three punch combo that has Jackson backing up. Jackson nods at Nilsen to acknowledge the strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bradley Jackson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Jackson throws a right hand that misses
and Nilsen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jackson catches Nilsen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Jackson shoots and misses and Nilsen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nilsen slips a straight right by Jackson. Nilsen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Nilsen looks to land a combination but Jackson avoids it well. Jackson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nilsen moves away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dennis Nilsen dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nilsen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jackson scores with a jab. Jackson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nilsen napping and manages to drive through into side control! Nilsen is looking for a sweep. Jackson in side control, throwing shots but Nilsen defends. Dennis Nilsen has got the better of the ground game so far. Nilsen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Nilsen tries to kick Jackson off but Jackson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Nilsen trying to control from the bottom.
Nilsen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jackson is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Nilsen still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Nilsen has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Jackson tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson wants to hold on but Nilsen pushes him away. Jackson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nilsen. Nilsen throwing strikes here but Jackson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Nilsen is standing up, even though he is in mount. Nilsen defending well as Jackson loads up on a big left hand. Nilsen throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily. Jackson checks a low kick from Nilsen. Nilsen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dennis Nilsen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nilsen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Nilsen. Nilsen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Jackson gets slowly back to his feet. Nilsen tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dennis Nilsen seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nilsen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jackson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nilsen scrambles back to his feet. Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nilsen was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson. Nilsen unleashes a big counter combination but Jackson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Nilsen misses with a wild combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jackson misses with a hook
and Nilsen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Nilsen takes a shot right to the bread basket. Jackson throws a shot from downtown. Nilsen moves away and avoids it. Jackson misses with a right hand and Nilsen counters with a straight right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nilsen scores with a nice strike. Nice sprawl there from Nilsen as Jackson shoots in. Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nilsen was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson. Jackson misses with a hook
and Nilsen counters with a nice uppercut. Nilsen lands a left and a right that send Jackson crashing to the mat, dazed. Nilsen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Jackson gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Jackson tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Nilsen is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Jackson buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Jackson!! Jackson is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Nilsen throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dennis Nilsen! Our winner, Dennis Nilsen, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
