Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Pinaglabanan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Longworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Vinnie Longworth! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Longworth lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Pinaglabanan has a couple of punches blocked by Longworth.
A left hand lands to the body for Pinaglabanan.
Pinaglabanan misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Longworth lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Pinaglabanan. Pinaglabanan tries a body shot but Longworth blocks it.

Longworth is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pinaglabanan to keep the fight standing. Longworth swings away with an uppercut that misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Longworth lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Pinaglabanan tries to throw a body punch but Longworth avoids it by throwing Pinaglabanan back against the cage. Pinaglabanan throws a punch but it's blocked by Longworth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pinaglabanan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Longworth tries to work over Pinaglabanan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Pinaglabanan lands an uppercut. Pinaglabanan is leaning against Longworth and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Pinaglabanan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Longworth decides to pull guard. Longworth had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pinaglabanan defends it easily. Pinaglabanan is stalling in the full guard. Longworth is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Pinaglabanan is sitting in close to Longworth's body. Longworth has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pinaglabanan is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pinaglabanan is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Longworth.
