Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between CoCo Jambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleksandr Usyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Usyk gets tackled into the cage by Jambo. Jambo maintains the clinch.
Jambo stalling the fight.
Usyk tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Jambo avoiding damage as Usyk throws knees to the body.

Jambo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Jambo for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Jambo is pressed up against the cage. Usyk has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jambo down to the mat. Jambo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
CoCo Jambo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oleksandr Usyk.
Usyk moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jambo moves into range and clinches up with Usyk.
Usyk should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Usyk tries to pull guard but Jambo forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Jambo wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Usyk's closed guard. He's half up but Usyk has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Usyk pivots and extends the arm, Jambo falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Usyk! Well done that man!
