Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pyry Kontio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pyry Kontio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrew Miller! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kontio. Miller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kontio manages to avoid it. Kontio shoots in looking for a takedown but Miller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kontio's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Miller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kontio to the mat! Kontio manages to get full guard. Miller wants to control from the top but Kontio keeps moving. Miller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kontio looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kontio is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Miller looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kontio pushing down on Miller's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kontio takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth. Miller is trying to get back to full guard. Miller taking some punishment here, with Kontio in his half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kontio lands a nice short elbow. Kontio uses his free foot to push down on Miller's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Miller.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kontio has control of Miller's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Miller regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Miller regains half guard. Kontio lands with a punch from half guard. Kontio is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Kontio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kontio trying to control from half guard but Miller is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kontio passes the guard and advances to mount! Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kontio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kontio postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Miller looks a forlorn figure.

Kontio is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Kontio extends the arm and Miller is forced to tap!
