Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ukko Metso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ukko Metso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jose Aldo! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Metso misses with a takedown and Metso takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Aldo's coach down at Bruize Brothaz was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Aldo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Metso shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Aldo counters with a nice uppercut. Aldo's corner calls for a 1-2. Aldo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Metso looks for a takedown but Aldo sprawls well. Aldo appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ukko Metso. That's going to take a lot out of him. Metso bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Metso prevents Aldo from escaping the position. Metso trying to control the action but Aldo is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aldo can do anything to dispel that myth. Aldo tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aldo has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Metso.
That's one minute gone in the round. Metso is punishing Aldo with some ground and pound. Metso patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Aldo is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Metso.
Metso throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Aldo!
Metso is punishing Aldo with strikes - can he finish him?! Metso lands shots from the back. Metso is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Metso has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Aldo.
It looks like Jose Aldo has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo is trapped and Metso is scoring with shots to the head and body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Aldo is trying to get back to his feet but Metso has full control of the position and if anything, Aldo has just worked his way into a worse spot. Metso has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Metso loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Aldo hold on?
Aldo is rocked! Metso lands shots to the head and Aldo turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!
