Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Laston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ingram Tottingham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ingram Tottingham was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laston misses with a two punch combination.
Laston misses with a jab, cross combination.
Laston misses with a series of wild punches.
Good standup being displayed there by Laston as he connects with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tottingham.
Tottingham moves out of range as Laston strikes.
Laston sets himself, and Tottingham steps forward looking for the clinch! Laston avoids it this time.

Tottingham ducks under a wild hook from Laston.
Laston looks to land a combination. Tottingham sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Ingram Tottingham has been cut.
Laston lands a really nice looking cross but Tottingham seems unphased.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Laston throws a series of punches but Tottingham moves out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tottingham! But no joy.
Laston misses with a hook. Tottingham ducked under it nicely.

Laston scores with a shot to the body.
Laston connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tottingham's hands.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tottingham has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tottingham slips a straight right by Laston.
Laston keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Laston loads up on a big right hand but Tottingham slips the punch.
And Tottingham tries to counter it with a takedown but Laston pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Laston scores with a one two! Tottingham had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Tottingham gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Laston counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jon Laston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ingram Tottingham.

and Tottingham counters with a takedown into side control.
Tottingham thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Laston throws Tottingham to one side and escapes!

and Laston makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Laston feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tottinghams jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Tottingham fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tottingham looks winded!
Laston moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Tottingham fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tottingham takes a shot right to the bread basket.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Laston lands a jab to the head.
Jon Laston is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Laston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Laston throws a hook but Tottingham blocks it.
Tottingham changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

and Laston counters with a left and a right that stings Tottingham.
Laston is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tottingham is defended easily by Laston.
It looked like Laston was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Tottingham changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Laston tries to avoid it but Tottingham manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Laston to the ground. Laston escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jon Laston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ingram Tottingham.

Tottingham on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Tottingham moves away from the strike by Laston.
Tottingham feints the counter takedown.

and Laston counters with a nice uppercut.
Tottingham is breathing heavily.
Tottingham takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Laston wobbles Tottingham with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Laston dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Tottingham to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jon Laston!

Jon Laston was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
