Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pyotr Korobeikin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnavut Sevket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arnavut Sevket told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pyotr Korobeikin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Arnavut Sevket! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korobeikin looks to land a right hand but Sevket moved out of range. Sevket misses with a hook. Korobeikin ducked under it nicely. Korobeikin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sevket swivels and escapes. Sevket looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Korobeikin closes the distance and clinches up with Sevket, looking for a takedown. Korobeikin pushes Sevket against the cage but Sevket circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A slow jab from Sevket misses its intended target. Sevket moves forwards but Korobeikin connects with a nice, crisp jab. Sevket ducks under a wild hook from Korobeikin. Sevket connects with a crisp jab. A punch combination from Sevket misses. Sevket walks into a jab. Sevket throws a looping overhand right but Korobeikin ducks down to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Korobeikin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sevket moves away. Sevket fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Korobeikin manages to avoid it. Korobeikin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sevket looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Who's going to make the next move? You can see the frustration on Sevket's face as Korobeikin controls the position.

Korobeikin swings around for an armbar but Sevket sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Korobeikin's guard. Sevket wants to control from the top but Korobeikin keeps moving. Sevket controlling from the top position. Korobeikin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Korobeikin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sevket's guard. Sevket wants to sweep but no luck. Sevket keeping moving, preventing Korobeikin from controlling successfully. Sevket is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Korobeikin misses with a takedown attempt - Sevket sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Korobeikin closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sevket's guard. Korobeikin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Sevket is adopting a defensive guard. Sevket looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Korobeikin puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sevket looks like he's trying to stand up.

Korobeikin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Korobeikin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sevket is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Korobeikin controlling Sevket's posture. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sevket wants to control from the top but Korobeikin keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Pyotr Korobeikin will probably get the nod. That's time! Korobeikin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sevket fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Korobeikin manages to avoid it. Sevket lands with an overhand left. Korobeikin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sevket napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sevket is trying to get back to half guard. Korobeikin moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Sevket is not content to let Korobeikin control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sevket is looking for a sweep. Pyotr Korobeikin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Korobeikin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sevket knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sevket is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sevket can't do much from the bottom here. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Korobeikin scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sevket to see if he's OK. Korobeikin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sevket's shoulder. That is not cool. Sevket is looking for a sweep. Korobeikin takes a little break here. Sevket cracks Korobeikin with a right hand to the side of the head. Sevket stalks Korobeikin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Korobeikin's face. Korobeikin staggers backwards, shaken. Sevket throws a body punch but Korobeikin moves out of range. Korobeikin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Korobeikin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sevkets jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Korobeikin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sevket. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A looping hook to the body misses from Sevket. Korobeikin does a little dance to reset his feet. Sevket uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Korobeikin. Jab, jab by Korobeikin - just one landing. Sevket scores with a decent looking hook. Arnavut Sevket is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Korobeikin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sevket manages to avoid it. A nice side step and Sevket releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. No joy there for Sevket, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Korobeikin throws a hook to the side of Sevket's head but Sevket sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Korobeikin shoots in looking for a takedown but Sevket manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Korobeikin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Korobeikin scores with the left hand. Sevket knows he should have avoided that one. Sevket misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Korobeikin.

Sevket throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Korobeikin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sevket throws a body shot but no joy. Korobeikin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sevket. Sevket circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Korobeikin jabs at Sevket's body. Sevket swings for the body but Korobeikin moves out of range.

Korobeikin throws the left hand but Sevket avoids the punch easily. Sevket misses with an uppercut. Korobeikin saw that one coming. Sevket scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Korobeikin scores with a jab. Sevket acknowledges it with a nod of the head. No luck for Korobeikin with that takedown attempt. Korobeikin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Korobeikin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sevket to the ground. Korobeikin is now in Sevket's guard. Korobeikin trying to control the position from guard on top but Sevket is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Korobeikin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

And that's the end of the fight! Arnavut Sevket comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sevket has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Arnavut Sevket decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
