Frankels's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dawn....Summer Solstice... . The key to victory for Rocket Bob Frankels has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocket Bob Frankels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Daniel Kennamer! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frankels throws a front kick that sends Kennamer stumbling back into the cage. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kennamer. Frankels thows a left - swing and a miss! Kennamer tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Kennamer misses with a takedown and Frankels counters with a lovely shot to the body. Frankels misses with an uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frankels misses with an uppercut. Kennamer is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Frankels has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kennamer fails with the takedown. Rocket Bob Frankels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Daniel Kennamer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kennamer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kennamer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Frankels is looking for a sweep. Frankels takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Frankels tries to improve position but can't. Kennamer creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Frankels sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Frankels is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kennamer tries to score with some ground and pound. Frankels controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Frankels tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kennamer advances to mount. Frankels is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Frankels regains half guard. Frankels works his way to full guard. Good work. Kennamer throws an elbow that misses. Frankels uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kennamer's guard. Nice move by Frankels!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Frankels throwing strikes from guard but Kennamer blocks nicely.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Frankels works his way to full guard. Good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kennamer keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Frankels's head. Kennamer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Frankels controls Kennamer momentarily but Kennamer frees himself. Kennamer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frankels looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Kennamer wants to control from the top but Frankels keeps moving. Frankels trying to control the position.
Frankels avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frankels trying to keep a closed guard but Kennamer is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rocket Bob Frankels will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kennamer tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Kennamer shoots in for a takedown but Frankels shows good takedown defense. Frankels throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Kennamer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kennamer. Kennamer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kennamer won't allow Frankels to sweep him here. Kennamer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Frankels looking for a sweep. Not yet Frankels, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kennamer throws a strike but Frankels rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Frankels makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frankels not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Frankels trying to control but Kennamer is working from the bottom. Frankels throws an elbow that misses. Kennamer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Frankels's guard. Nice move by Kennamer! Kennamer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kennamer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kennamer won't allow Frankels to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frankels has control of Kennamer's left arm, preventing Kennamer from doing any damage. Kennamer postures up.
Kennamer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Frankels looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Kennamer is defending well. Frankels quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kennamer has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Frankels celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
